... I sincerely wish Assassin's Creed wasn't so easy/gave ya such blatantly linear missions/stealth actually mattered outside of three missions the entire game. =/ Dumb ol' Ubisoft, ruinin' such great potential by catering t' all the nubs who couldn't stand blending for more than five seconds.

The Thief games and more recently Dishonored play more like what you're describing. You're given a target, and you decide how to do it. Infiltration encourages exploration for ways to sneak in. If ya get caught, theres costly moves to deal with them. Stealth is encouraged since you go down easily and enemies are plentiful( on hard, I always play stealth games on hard)

Funny Story,
So, I have the best local street pass team and my unit character. And I guess some people were sick of seeing my "unbeatable" team twice a week on their map. In response they created a my unit character that looks exactly like mine. The funny thing is, the person who made it had him say things like "I WILL NEVER JOIN YOU!!" and "YOU MONSTER!!!"
I found it quite humorous.
