And thats what quotes are for, my little buddy. Considering that its nigh impossible to send normal speech and body signals across the internet without the use of a Microphone or Webcam, one cannot expect a person to recognize your direction of speech unless you make it obvious enough, especially if you word your post in such a way that makes it read as if you could be talking to any of the three people that posted before you.

Old fogey in the building! While I agree with your sentiments Dorkfish I must insist on gathering a more positive outlook. It's not like we haven't been trying to improve.

Yes, it'll never be the same, but so long as people stop whining about sailed ships(The crash, newbies, Ninstation, etc.) then we should be able to hop back on our feet. As long as the whining subsides, so will the pointless babble.

Yeah, I miss old-school Wiichat as well. It's not as much fun without all those debates, and of course there are a number of missing legends.

Wow a thread like this almost a year later. I was only here a few months before the "Apocalypse" and only lost about 80 posts. Some people I knew before didn't come back and it sucks, but life goes on. New people are still joining and we should all be doing what we can to make it appealing for them to stay rather than complaining about a database crash 10 months ago.

Theres a difference between complaining and missing something. All I'm saying is that I miss how it used to be, but I live with how it is anyway. The internet, contrary to popular opinion, is not serious business.
