It's burning!

if you see white smoke or see the plastic start to melt then yes... turn it off. Hate to say it folks, but electronics get warm, its normal.

My wii is cold during connect2 and all that.
Actually its getting quite worriying?

Does it mean something extra is not working?

Make sure you use the little plastic tray stand they give you with your Wii. I did not know what it was till I did some research.

How could you be so Stupid? The stand is there with Most pictures of the Wii [In stores anyways]

On the note of the Thread, Make sure the fan on the bottom of the Wii is being used too....

[Yeah theres one on the bottom] and you need to make sure that ALL Fans are able to collect Air/Get rid of it and don't leave it in a corner...

I got a cooler so I was able to re-download the game without smelling the plastic melting on my Wii : )

oddly, my wii never gets hott. it always feels a little warm like all systems do after continuous use of play but never to the point of scolding heat like a laptop does.
