I've Made Backup DVD Inserts & DVD Labels But...

I made my first backups of my Wii Games and I have made Backup DVD Covers & Labels for them but I stopped. I realized "Oh man these are Matte (kind of like regular print paper) rather than glossy". I noticed that the DVD Case Inserts in real games, movies, etc. are always that shiny gloss finish and with the DVD's, games, etc. they are usually something in between. What should I get? Would glossy labels hurt the Wii? Does anyone else use Glossy DVD lables or DVD Inserts?

I've been partial to using sharpie markers, and them jamming 'em into a big disc case ;-)
Way too much unnecessary effort to recreate the case/label/insert in my opinion. It doesn't serve a functional purpose.
