why should anyone have to buy the games they own again? that is down right out of order, it's the same with the 3ds where nintendo are yet again charging for the same games that people already have with the old gameboy games, if you have the games already, why would anyone want to buy them again?

Does anyone also realize, that Nintendo is really close to virtual games using your entire room. I mean with the new Wii U mote controller you can see up, down, right and left. If they put that tech into 3D like glasses. You could use your hole room, sight seeing in your own room!!

It'll take some years, but just think about it.

i was looking foreward to playing my gamecube games in 1080p

Hi, an HD console wont upgrade gamecube graphics to HD, it's not possible.

Same thing with a PlayStation 3, You can donwload and play PSone or PS2 games, but they look just like the original versions, no HD.

Since everyone has wiis, and you can play gamecube games on it, It seems pointless to me to add gamecube compatibility.

But, don't worry, I'm pretty sure we'll have some kind of gamecubeHD games for the Wii U.

Nintendo said that's up to the developer the use of that feature.
I don't really see that happening, on every game.
For instance, if you are playing ghost recon and all your equipment and maps are in the controller, how are you going to transfer the main screen to the controller. Where would the equipment go? to your ipod? :sick:

I only see this happening on some First party games.
What´s the point on having a second screen if you can't use it as a second screen, lol

I'd bet money someone would hack the WiiU and modify the disc drive to handle and play 'cube games eventually.

Indeed, friend. I was only joking. :lol: If Nintendo somehow ****ed up and made a parallel to the hellish game system known as the virtual boy all these years later, I'd lose faith in them entirely. Since they succeeded with handheld 3D, I doubt they'd find a way to fail hard enough to accomplish what I described.

hey guys not to worry maybe the will put gamecube games in the wii shop just don't get disappointed yet we still have another year before alot of things are confirmed they have time to change somethings on the system for the final development before shipping it out. so they might make something in which gamecube might still be compatible with the wii u who knows just wait.
