Spiderman/PS3 = Same font?

I noticed this a while ago, but was surprised wen no one else posted about it.

Did anyone else notice the Spiderman 2 font and the PS3 font? Pretty identical.

they are the same font, spiderman is by Sony

maybe they liked the font and thought it would fit both of them perfectly?

Maybe it just looked the best on the movie/cover.

I remember some critics hoping that they'd change that font when they saw it, personally I think it suits it but I can see why people would want it different.
