I'm gonna guess 50.

and for that guy that said 40 is pushing the wii's limits that simply is not true.

I've played DS games with hundreds of characters, I'm sure the wii could handle quite a few more detailed characters.

ime guessing 40-44,, that would be AWESOME, because there will be no clones XD

you know i don't really mind clones, it's just that if i were to choose between different movesets or clone, i would choose different movesets. i don't even think mario and luigi will be clones due to mario having fluud.
