Why do they have to do this to me. Call of duty 4/Medal of Honor Hero's 2 Same freaking day, both online both really anticipated games, both shooters, both i have to have, Oh the pain why the same week why.:yikes: Managing my time for both of these is going to be really hard. i just cant take it any more(takes colt 45 to the dome) This is going to be one freaking awesome gaming season, this winter. i just wish they would bring out the games like this in the summer when i got less to do. Ok im done with my useless rambling.

I feel your pain. Within a month and a half, Guitar Hero III, Medal of Honor Hero's 2, Mario Galaxy, SuperSmash Brothers. All of which I must own.

And there's a bunch of other good ones I'm eyeing up like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals and Battalion Wars 2.

And on top of everything, outta nowhere Zack & Wiki is really good so I had to pick it up.

I'm just glad I only own one system. I can barely keep up as it is.

Call of duty 4 owns medal of honor. COD4 has mic's, better online, graphics, etc. than medal of honor. But if you were a cheap a$$ dude and only got a wii then your stuck with MOH as your only fps online shooter.

well for me its all about GH3 wich i got, MOH, Call of duty 4, Manhunt 2, BWii, and a couple others all released this month or early last month and i cant get any of them besides GH3 cause i need to buy a new DS cause i gota 4 hour road trip coming up PLUS court fees, PLUS a ticket, PLUS the money for my cars damages. (car accident if u didnt put that together)

its an awesome month for gaming and im left out of it for the most part. lol, at least ill be playing Dementium: the ward in a couple weeks!

I have to make a decision of Umbrella Chronicles, or Mario Galaxy. After researching Gamespot I realized they even gave games like Silent Hill 2 a 7.7/10! Beyond retarded.

Their reviews suck. In fact they are often off by 2 whenever they rate a game the users, and critics either rate higher, or lower from Gamespot. So I'll have to rely on these forums for the final opinion.

i know ill have more fun with Call of duty with the voice, and better graphics, but at the same time i am really wanting to play medal of honor 2 i want to see what the first big online game is going to be like on the wii. Even though it sucks it doesn't have voice chat, (im still trying to figure out how the ds has it but the wii doesn't?) its still going to be fun i played the first one on the psp and it didnt have voice chat even though the psp had a mic it was still fun as hell.But nintendo needs to do something about that, at least for the team based games. Its kinda hard trying to read minds and play a game at the same time.

That family image crap is getting kinda played as an excuse for not getting online up on par with the competition. Families need to start taking responsability for families and you start making games. If you buy your kid a mature rated games thats your problem, if you let your kid play online games with a mic thats your problem, leave the companies out of it so they don't have to play family politics.

The ir method of aiming is the obvious selling point for Wii fps over other systems. Its as close as you can get to using a mouse on a video game system for shooters (which makes a major difference).

Buying a Wii was not a matter of cheapness for many. I had call of duty 2 on my xbox before the current gen consoles came out, and i remember hating the dual joystick compared to using a pc mouse. I could ramble on but you get my point.

thats so true. esrb also says at the start of the game that the game experience might change during online play. i keep telling people that the wii will eventually get a headset. the ds didnt get a headset on the first 2 years. i just hope the wii gest the headset earlier than the ds did.

Well thing is, Medal Of Honor 2 is not the first big online Wii game.
Many would say that Strikers was the first big one, or even maybe Battalion Wars 2.

Also the online/voice chat isn't really companies doing.
Nintendo made it so they don't have the hassle of trying to get kids to this and do that..kids are stubborn, c'mon now. Friend codes help lock it all up, and its not really that much of a problem. Plus the mic situation may not have anything to do with the age, it may just be that Nintendo doesn't have one out yet. Who knows, but I am sure that with their friend codes set in place we will see voice chat soon enough.

As for your game dilemma.
Buy both, both look and sound like they will be killer.

well what i see as a big online jump is competitive play with more than 4 people, and not sports, or strategy ( how do you play co op with some one on BWII and not have voice?) With the friend code thing i think that seeing as is nintendo is the last to go online i would think they would have done a better job with there online service, i understand kids are stubborn but at the same time its not nintendos job to babysit and i really wish they would get off their high horse and realize that. Lets stop putting responseabilty on the companies and start making parents be parents. Just like the stupid ramblings of these stupid organizations talking about banning manhunt when its not even for kids? It has its rating the company did its job now parents do yours and don't buy it for your kid and you wont have a problem. Just like you don't let your kid go to a rated R movie you don't let your kid play a M17 rated game. Don't hinder my online experience for stupid families that don't know how to take care and take responsability for their children.

Take for instant my girls son, when i play my violent games he is to leave the room, when he gets on the computer some one is there watching him, he is not allowed to play online games till he gets older. Thats called being a parent and taking responsability. They do have parental locks on these consoles, computers and tv's for reasons lets use them and use commons sense. Not hinder every one else because of stupid parents that go and buy their kids things and don't even know what it is. honestly i think some of these stupid parents would buy their kid a porno if it didn't have a naked girl on the cover.

As far as head sets i can almost bet that its going to use blue tooth, they are just scared to go that way because of the kids, or that they are trying to find a way to capitalize, and not make the same mistake sony did because most every one already has a blue tooth headset, and it would be no reason to buy an over priced nintendo headset, just like its pointless to buy an overpriced nintendo SD card

I guess those that only have owned a nintendo console don't understand how online play(real online play) is. There is the competitiveness, the joy of putting your skills to the test against people from around the world and not just people you know. Then there is the comradery of team based games, and the strategy that comes with these games. Then there is clans and getting together to put your group skills to the test against other clans. I don't know about you but thats gaming at its finest, its nice to have an original game to play by yourself or with a few friends but there is nothing like getting together with people from all around the world and battling it out.

Thats why im excited and pissed at the same time for Medal of Honar 2, while when this game comes out you will get a taste of all this it really hinders the experience when there isn't proper communication then its still like every man for himself in a way. I understand that nintendo fans love their system and they think it is bringing gamers together but lets just face it a real online experience is what brings gamers together, not just different types of gamers but gamers from around the world. Thats bringing it together and i as a nintendo fan, and hardcore gamer really wishes nintendo will step it up in this department. i know they are getting there but seeing as they really suffered on the last console gen because of this you would think they would have did a better job from the start.
