Wii making strange noises

I got my wii around december and it worked fine until about 2 months after I got it. It made a strange noise like something was stuck and it couldn't turn the disc. after a second it worked fine. I payed no attention to it until it happened again a couple weeks later. I found out my console was making etches on the side of my game disk it hasn't happened very oftem but I'm wondering if it's happened to anyone else. It's also getting more frequent.

My Wii does make some noises when I am playing Red Steel, but it has never actually made any scratches onto the disk. Maybe you should contact Nintendo to discuss the matter.

Yeah, mine has made some noises, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Give Nintendo a ring, see if they got something for you.

well if you ever played scarface on the wii...
youd hear alot more than you want
i think it just depends on how big the game is and how hard the wii is having too work

but like the others said... check with nintendo
