I was getting a ton of network hiccups (sp?) before I changed my wireless router to use Channel 1. Videos wouldn't play through, Wii updates wouldn't finish downloading... Once I changed it to use Channel 1 everything started working a whole lot better for my Wii. I'd recommend trying that if anyone's having network issues.
