{Axtlár} said:Why would they name Louie "Louie"? Olimar's name is obviously derived from Mario's name and so is Louie's from Luigi, but they could have dissimulated it a bit more, like for example Giliou would have been a much better name, those idiots at Nintendo making the names of characters...I mean come on! Waluigi? what the hell is that? I would have called him Tuigi so that the T at least resembles the upside down L.

"Louie" is, like "Luigi", a name derived from the German "Ludwig". It should be noted than in some translated versions of Pikmin, the name is translated into the equivalent of "Louie" in that language - for example, in the Spanish translation of Pikmin 2, he is called "Luís".
Wow, Nintendo loves greek and german!
Edited. Wow you're fast.Vdogam3r said:Paragraph 2 and 3 are the same =.=
