Super Smash Bros. 4

I'll ban the first idiot t' claim Hale > Falcon. dontchu test me, illdoit

You couldn't be more correct.

I must respectfully say you've no idea what you're talkin' 'bout, good sir.

Holy ****, I just noticed that BrokenRest is the third best character in Melee.....um, wow. That's pretty annoying. </3

fix'd

....back on topic (which is technically off topic but I don't care), is Olimar really that good? I haven't been paying attention the the metagame.

'Sides from bein' so bloody easy to gimp, he's got some quality properties workin' for 'em.

SPEAKING OF NERFS

How the hell's Project M comin' along? Stopped keepin' track of it since I became Brawl-less for the most part (actually, the hack might'a started after my Wii crapped out on me).

How dare you make me choose between my love of comedy and the rules... I'd challenge ya t' a duel had I a computer that could run TF2.

I'd go Holiday Punch Heavy regardless of how srs the match is.... until I get dominated. Then it's stalker spy until things get settled.

Anywho, Soldier would be fun to watch in SSB4. Gaben can probably figure something out.

Spy in SSB4 would be somethin' t' see. Someone make TF2 movesets.

You need to get a better computer
Are you still on Dial-Up?

I mention I can't emulate a DS game without lag, nothin'. Mention I can't play an online-multiplayer game obviously far more taxing than a DS game, ya (rightfully) bash my PC. lolwut?

My internet connection's fine, my PC is just a heapin' piece'a ****.

Riki Moveset

Riki.png

(I'm making this up on the spot because otherwise I'll never do it)

Normal B: Heropon Power

You can charge up Riki by holding down the B button. The longer you charge, the more damage this attack will do, and the further it will go. When you release it, Riki will launch himself forward in a belly first jump, with roughly this range (the x is Riki).

x_ (Tapping the button) (6% damage with no fire)

x__ (Little charge) (12% damage with a little fire) (Very little knockback)

x____(Full charge) (28% damage with a lot of fire) (Good amount of knockback) (Takes roughly 5 seconds to fully charge)

Riki will plow through anyone in his way. However, at full charge this attack has a 50% chance of making Riki accidentally faceplant at the end of his jump, leaving him vulnerable. This attack has the added bonus of stealing the item of an opponent it hits, including ROB's Gyros, Peach's Turnips, Link's Bombs, etc.

Side B: Freezinate

Riki spits a ball of ice at the opponent, which has different range depending on running speed.

Standing: x___
Walking: x____
Running: x_______

The ice will travel faster if it goes a longer distance as well. If used when standing or walking, the ice will bounce off a target after doing about 8% damage. The ice ball can then be picked up and used again, but it will shatter the next time it deals damage. A single attack will also shatter it. The ice ball goes through targets at maximum velocity, but cannot be picked up. A maximum of two ice balls (from each Riki) can be on the stage at once.

Down B: Play Dead

Riki flops down on the ground and pretends to be unconscious. This lasts as long as the B button is held down, and he cannot move until the B button is released. When in this state, Riki takes 1/3 the knockback he would normally take, but all the damage. Taking more then 30% damage will knock him out of this state and stun him, but if he is attacked for less then that, when the B button is released Riki will jump up and unleash a counterattack of 1.3x the damage he took. This state can be held for a maximum of 6 seconds.

If used in mid air, Riki will enter a helpless stat, but when he lands the move will begin.

Up B: Burninate

Riki makes a leap in mid air about this high.

-
-
x

For the duration of the move, Riki spins around twice while releasing fire in a swirling motion.

Other notes:

Riki has two mid air jumps, both involving his "ear wings" giving him an extra boost.

Final Smash: Doompon of Doom

After getting a Smash Ball, Riki becomes cloaked in electricity and curls up into a ball. Riki can move and jump in this form, and although his ground speed is about the same, he jumps a lot higher then he normally could. By pressing B in midair, Riki can come plummeting down to the ground in a flash of lightning and Nopon fury. When he lands, a shockwave about this large is created.

_____x_____

The higher he is from the ground he hits, the more damage this shockwave does. The shockwave can also effect opponents a few feet above it. The shockwave itself offers little knockback, but lots of damage. Hitting an opponent with Riki after tapping B in midair, on the other hand, offers little damage but lots of knockback. The opponents take a little damage and knockback if they touch Riki at all, of course.

Made a realistic wishlist. Copypasta.

Ghirahim (Zelda: Skyward Sword)

430px-Ghirahim.png

Ghirahim is amazing, blah blah blah, **** Skull Kid, blah blah blah. If you don't know that I'm a huge Ghirahim fanboy, you're either living under a rock or you don't know me well. Ghirahim and Skull Kid are among the most wanted Zelda characters in SSB4, and unlike Skull Kid, Ghirahim is actually relevant. Skull Kid's game (Majora's Mask) was a ages ago, and while I do quite like it, Skyward Sword is really new and thus is more likely to get a representative. Plus, Skull Kid has no fighting style, and he's not even a notable villain. Ghirahim is fabulous, is active and important in the story, and has a clearly established fighting style. Also, I think that Ghiry has a bigger fanbase then Skull Kid, despite what certain polls may tell you.

Fan moveset:

B Move: Dagger Shot
Ghirahim starts levitating a dagger in front of him. Tapping B will cause him to throw just one (the dagger moves horizontally and is not affected by gravity). But holding down B causes him to gather more daggers, stacking them on top of each other. There can be up to six daggers, and the more there are, the greater vertical area they can hit. One dagger does not do very much damage, but if a lot of them hit something it will really hurt them. Ghirahim can levitate the daggers as long as he wants; this can be useful because they can protect him from projectiles. They do vanish on contact, though.

Side B: Barrier Slasher
Ghirahim moves forward very quickly at fast speed. It's very similar to Ike's side B, only, when this attack hits, Ghirahim will attempt to slash his target many times very quickly. It also breaks any shield on the first hit, hence the name. It also has no charge time, unlike Ike's. But it can cause Ghirahim to go flying off the edge of a stage. Thankfully, pressing B will stop it immediately.

Down B: Diamond Tornado
Ghirahim raises his palm into the air. After a brief moment, a black tornado about his height will erupt from it. It is black with diamond sparkles. Anyone above Ghirahim that is caught in this attack will be stuck in falling mode (the mode most characters go into after using their Up B, aka helpless). Taking your finger off B will quickly cause Ghirahim to cease using the attack so he can attack the helpless victim.

Up B: Demon Jump
Ghirahim leaps into the air. The height is about the same as King Dedede's Up B. Tapping B at any time during this will cause him to teleport in a burst of diamonds. Moving the control stick will decide where he reappears; he reappears after about 2 seconds. Immediately after reappearing he dives downward with his sword pointing where he is moving. He slashes through any characters in his way. Since you have little horizontal control during this decent, you can cancel the attack with B, putting Ghirahim is helpless mode but allowing him to maneuver better.

Just a note: not using the teleport will result in him not being put in helpless mode. The teleport distance is also about the same as Meta Knights.

Warning: Skyward Sword Spoilers!
Final Smash:
The Imprisoned
Ghirahim does a weird dance, and summons the Imprisoned from the ground in the center of the stage. The Imprisoned stomps around and can even levitate. It is completely immune to all attacks, and touching it will deal damage to anyone that's not Ghirahim. One of Ghirahim's taunts is a weird dance; using it will cause the Imprisoned to go to his current location. The Imprisoned disappears after about the same time as the Landmaster.

Shulk (Xenoblade)

Shulk.png

Oh, Xenoblade, how I love you. Shulk himself isn't a particular favorite of mine (my favorite Xenoblade character is Riki), but he's fairly cool. I'd like him in because I really want Xenoblade to be represented, especially by a playable character. Shulk himself is a swordsman, who for much of Xenoblade wields the mysterious "Monado", a sword with many powers that also allows Shulk to see the future. Kinda. In Xenoblade, the Monado can shield you, make you move faster, among other things. You can also see a vision of the future sometimes, which you can use to save allies from an otherwise fatal attack. I think both of these elements could be cleverly implemented into Shulk's playstyle.

3.
Bowser Jr. (Mario series)
506px-Sms_bowser_jr.jpg

Bowser Jr. is a pretty cool Mario villain in my opinion, second to only Petey Piranha and Fawful. I dunno why I like him as much as I do, but regardless, I think he'd make a great addition to Smash Bros. For Mario, it's pretty much him or Waluigi (lolno at Geno), and I really don't want Waluigi over Jr. Waluigi to me is eh, and I think Jr. deserves the spot more. For one, it would be easier to come up with a fighting style for him. Two, we already have enough Mario characters in overalls, with 3 (Mario, Luigi, and Wario). This may not be the best argument, but I still think we have enough of those. And third, Bowser Jr. is more important to the series, actually appearing outside sports games. His paintbrush from Mario Sunshine, which allows him to transform into "Shadow Mario", a blue Mario imposer, could possibly make him a sort of Zelda/Shiek or Red like fighter, if you know what I mean.

4.
N (Pokemon Series)
378px-Black_2_White_2_N.png

N is pretty awesome, imo. But I think he's unlikely to get into Smash Bros. He's not playable in the games in any way, which is a problem. But for a Pokemon character, he's among the most popular. He's also one of, if not the, most interesting and notable Pokemon character. I don't know how he would work as a character, whether he'd use Reshiram and Zekrom or something else, but he's a character I'd love to see, although unlikely. N did make it decently high on that one poll if I remember correctly, so there's a chance, although slim.

5.
Rosa (Black 2/White 2)
200px-Black_2_White_2_Rosa.png

Rosa is more likely then N in my opinion. She is my favorite Pokegirl, and she's the female player of BW2. I'd say that her or Hilda has a shot of getting in. Smash Bros in itself needs more female characters, for one. Also, if they add a few trainer from the main series that's not N, chances are they'll use Rosa or Hilda. My logic is that since they already have Red for the male protagonist, they'd use Hilda/Rosa as his generation five counterpart. Oh, and it will be generation five, SBB always has at least one character from the generation it takes place in. If she was a character, I think Snivy/Dewott/Emboar would be a good team for her.

6.
Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney)
Phoenix_body.png

No, I don't support a wazillion 3rd party characters in Smash Bros. But since we have Snake and Sonic, it wouldn't hurt to add one more. ONE. Capcom seems to be on good terms with Ninty, so I'd say either Megaman or Wright has a decent shot at being in this game. Mostly Megaman, sadly. I didn't really like the Megaman series much, but I won't deny that Megaman would be fitting for SSB4, and deserves a spot. I'd be fairly optimistic about Phoenix if Megaman wasn't there. For a fighting style, I don't think he can pull off the weird **** he does in Marvel vs Capcom (even though I don't know a lot about that game), so I dunno how that would work, really.

Since Wright is already in a fighting game, Godot is obviously the perfect candidate. Get to it, Capcom.

But no, Edgy has a more logical chance of getting in as an Ace Attorney character, having his own game and such.

My quick list:

1. Geno
2. Bowser Jr. (Dunno how much I want him, but I think he should be in it)
3. Dixie Kong / some significant Kong
4. Isaac (Golden Sun)

I think Pokemon Trainer should get more skins, similar to Wario.

Why does everyone want Bowser Jr? We got enough Mario characters.

K.rool needs to be the next DK fighter. Somehow.
