The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

First Mantine I catch has a Modest nature, Water Absorb, and amazing IV's; every IV is 23+ aside from Defense, which is 10. Fills my heart with rainbows.

What? Oh, no, I generally don't calculate IV's in game, I was just wondering what Hidden Power it had. Turns out it was Steel with 52 power. I was really hoping for Flying...

Magnemite and Cranidos also evolved. Those two'll tear **** up.

Greedy bastard.

It just occurred t' me that an absurd amount'a attack names originated in Pokemon's TCG. Neat.

WIP, got to bring some more from the pub, clean one or two, connect them up (pads go in a box beside it)

Finally, level 82. T'was a long road to traverse, gettin' this far... yet I'm barely at the halfway point.

And I couldn't be happier(?).

Kh2

just ****ed up Sephiroth for the first time at level 58. Pretty proud. And the caffeine is wearing off.

Nicely done. 58 is pretty damn good; he kills ya in two combos (without Once More equipped), yeah?

My memory's a tad hazy as I ain't played KH2 in a few years, but I think the lowest level I beat Sephiroth was 40~. Somewhere 'round there.

40?! that's an impressive feat. do you even get Once More at 40? O;
and yea any attack from sephiroth will put you to near death lol

I used rumbling rose with explosion, guard break, and finishing plus. Clean finishers every time, it was surprisingly effective

Can't remember the answer t' that one. Like any smart player lookin' to do low-level secret boss killin', I chose the shield so yeah, I had it. Lacked Second Chance though, but it ain't like gettin' hit by Heartless Angel ever happens anyways.

I can't remember exactly what I used... pretty sure I equipped the whateveritscalled Pumpkin, and the same combo abilities ya listed. Also made heavy use'a Horizontal Slash and Aerial Finish, as lettin' Sephiroth teleport -> Upper Slash gets ya a free combo (and Sliding Dash lets ya get a free ground combo afterwards), so long as you Aerial Recovery his aerial combo consistently. Not that it's a good idea, at level 40~ three'a those initial slashes would probably kill. Maybe four, don't recall.

Beat Silver in Victory Road. Magneton swept his entire team while barely taking any damage, spamming Thunder and Flash Cannon worked like a charm. I guess you could say he got the Chair. Had to say that at some point.

Gonna grind a bit and take on the Elite Four. Here's my team:

Typhlosion (Pypyro) lv. 38
(Female) (Blaze, Bold nature) (Charcoal)
-Rock Smash
-Lava Plume
-Focus Blast
-Strength

I put the two HM moves on there for Victory Road since she had free moveslots. Her special movepool is pretty bad, and due to the nature I'm especially hesitant to use any physical attacks. I'll find something, though, I'm sure. Also, I'm not sure if I want Lava Plume or Flamethrower when it levels up more. Flamethrower has more power, but I like Lava Plume's burn chance. Ugh. I might have to give it Fire Blast if I keep Lava Plume. In that case, Wide Lens would make a good item for said move and Focus Blast.

Rampardos (Cometbash) lv. 37
(Female) (Mold Breaker, Bashful nature) (Wide Lens)
-Zen Headbutt
-Dig
-Rock Slide
-Rock Polish

Dig is on over the newly acquired Earthquake because I taught Tangrowth EQ instead. This moveset is totally complete, I see no need to change it anymore.

Magneton (Chair) lv. 40 (slightly overleveled due to soloing Silver)
(No gender) (Magnet Pull, Naive nature) (Magnet)
-Thunder Wave
-Flash Cannon
-Discharge
-Light Screen

Magneton has a small movepool, so Light Screen and Thunder Wave are on there for lack of better options. I might replace Light Screen with Magnet Rise. Discharge paralyzes things a lot anyway, so there's little point in having Thunder Wave, but I don't know what to even replace it with. This moveset might be complete, I'm not sure.

Mantine (Glubson) lv. 37
(Male) (Water Absorb, Modest nature) (Nevermeltice)
-Sleep Talk
-Rest
-Surf
-Ice Beam

RestTalk because Mantine doesn't have a very good special movepool anyway. There's Signal Beam, which I was considering over Ice Beam, mostly so he could hit Water types harder. But Ice Beam has more power and hits Dragons hard, so I decided to stick with it. Water types can barely hurt Mantine anyway, he can usually outlast them. NeverMeltIce is on there to zest up Ice Beam, and due to a current lack of better options.

Wobbuffet (Avocado) lv. 38
(Male) (Shadow Tag, Calm nature) (Leftovers)
-Counter
-Mirror Coat
-Safeguard
-Destiny Bond

It might have been a good idea to get it as a Wynaut for Encore, but ah well. This guy is difficult to use against mixed attackers and status move spammers, but he still works. I traded some Leftovers over because he almost needs them to function correctly.

Tangrowth (Shioramen) lv. 38
(Male) (Chlorophyll, Quirky Nature) (Leftovers)
-Earthquake
-Sunny Day
-Sludge Bomb
-Solarbeam

He sets up Sunny Day, which makes him a little faster than Typhlosion, courtesy of its ability. He then proceeds to spam powerful Solarbeams. Sludge Bomb is mostly for grass types, while Earthquake is for poison types, steel types, and fire types. I'm still really tempted to put Sleep Powder on, but I dunno, I quite like this moveset.

Played a lot on my 3DS in my 4-day vacation.

- More Awakening, obviously.
- Returned to Kid Icarus Uprising for a while. Oh how I missed that game. Had to use my DSi's stylus though, lost my 3DS's.
- More Legend of Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition. Finally beat the third door in the Hero's Trial, solo of course.
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity demo. What an intro. Game is overall good. Not enough for me to get it though.
- The MH3U demo is extremely ****ing hard. Took me forever to beat Easy, and I just gave up on Hard.
To top off the underrated difficulty, they don't even teach you how to play in the beginning. What kind of a.....?
