The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

... Nowhere. Nothin' much t' say. Had the usual GGs with MR. Same old, good ol' GGs.

It took me 'til I was level 76 to remember t' find the Lover Stone. All of the derps belong t' me.

I guess I'll now be playing Heartgold alongside Dream Team and Zero Escape. This is actually the first non-Nuzlocke of Heartgold I've done.

I'm gonna have the following Pokemon for sure, and I'll wing the rest:

-Typhlosion
-Rampardos
-Tangrowth
-[strike]Kingler[/strike] Wobbuffet

I'm sooooo tempted to just finalize the team and add Kangaskhan and Wobbuffet, but...I really wanna wing it at least a little.

Edit: I'll use Kingler another time, I'm gonna use Wobbo. It would be annoying to go to the trouble of teaching it Dive in Soulsilver anyway.

I never plan my team ahead of time. I always just go and get whichever Pokemon I can get.

It creates a sort of "the strong survive" feeling.

I used to do that more often.

Edit: BE FEMALE ALREADY CYNDAQUIL

QUIT MAKING MY QUEST FOR GENDER VARIETY SO DIFFICULT

Edit 2:

*finally gets a girl*

"At this point I'll settle for anything without a -Speed or -Sp. Attack nature"

*Sassy nature [+Sp. Defense, -Speed]*

why game why

The morning star has become my favorite weapon. Just have to avoid hitting dodge button at the wrong times.

Apparently, War of the Roses is now free. I'll be checking that out.

Groudon once lived in Arkngthamz, apparently.

I just want t' use Pokes I enjoy. In-game ain't difficult after all.

... That, and if I just go through the game without any plannin' I'll make a regrettable team choice somewhere down the line.

... Why the hell would ya go through so much trouble just for a female starter?

Better make it count.

Dawnguard Qa'soud would like to battle!

Qa'soud used Thunderbolt!
It's super effective!

Foe Golbat fainted!

If WotR works without lag on my bro's laptop, I will be the happiest of fisherman... fat chance though.

Finally finished the main storyline, after being sidetracked by the (admitedly very enjoyable) Dawnguard DLC. I almost felt a very real inner rage when that woman of The Blade asked me to kill Paarthanax. Almost.
These side quests should keep me busy for a while, and of course I love exploring Skyrim. This place is so huge and the map is just peppered with places to see, things to do. Never a dull moment.

Oh also did a run of Mean Bean Machine today. I made it to Scratch than got bored of it. D&D lasted roughly three and a half hours so I felt like a puzzle game would be a bit relaxing.

Ward + Summmon Wrathmen + Flame Shout = gg.

Yep, I still clearly remember my first few weeks of Skyrim... never a dull moment indeed. Fun times. I hope Oblivion is just as wondrous when I get 'round to it.

also delphine is a dirty feebas

Flame Shout = gg.

Breath of Fire? A weak thu'um suitable for the weak. 'Specially weak against me since I'm literally immune t' magic with my shield up.

On that note, I completely forgot 'bout that Summon Wrathmen spell. Don't have the natural magicka reserves t' use it (or any summon magicks 'sides a useless Familiar), so I've not seen it in action yet. Gotta enchant me some ubertastical mage robes first 'fore I can start spell-slingin'.

Beat Bugsy. I don't remember Scyther hitting quite that hard with U-turn. Somewhat startling, but manageable.

Silver's Croconaw was really irritating. I need a water resist, or at least something neutral to water.

I wish Cranidos learned a decent Rock-type attack by level up, discounting the late Head Smash (which is too self destructive anyway for my tastes). Too bad Rock Slide and to a lesser extent Stone Edge aren't available until later. Rock Tomb sucks. I may trade it over to another game to teach it Rock Slide.

The Wrathman is actually a lifesaver. With Dark Souls it pretty much lives until the spell hits it's time limit (and they only kneel to most Shouts), but by then, assuming you're magically inclined and have some form of decent macicka regen, you'll be able to make another all the while firing off lightning bolts or doing some other form of assisting magical attack. Or healing. I suppose you can consider those to be the mechanics with any battle-based conjuring spell. And Wrathman are stupidly strong, as evident by their high MP cost.

1. How does a Pinsir lose to a frickin Venonat in the bug catching contest?
2. My entire team has Pokerus, apparently. This has happened in at least three games. Wish my luck with Pokerus could be converted into luck with shinies.

Odd. If you thought Skyrim was exciting, Oblivion will blow you away. But as I've mentioned, my gripe with the game is that stupid leveling system. I do give props to Skyrim for at least fixing that. If you somehow got a leveling mod, the game becomes incredible. I think it might just beat Morrowind as a favorite. I'll wait until I finish the main quest before deciding.
