Got new laptop! Help!

I just bought a new laptop (toshiba sattelite) love it so anyways need help on what programs i should get to portect it need it for free dnt got alot of money...so if you have any virus protection or firewalls i should get (for free) post and nething else needed..

and Adblock plus is a great way to disable ads on your firefox browser
