Why are you giving this guy such a hard time? I mean it's his life he can do what he wants. I personally would never play a game for 12 hours straight, I think my GF would dump me on the spot lol. Plus I can't fit it in with Uni next year. I agree that it's best for him to really ease up on the video games but you don't have to flame him to death, he is only 10!

maybe he does play it with friends[int he same room] sometimes so he could be socialising?
he might actually have had his eyes replaced with tv screens (Darwins next stage of evolution) and its a choice between wii and watching old episodes of Doug all day long.

He's 10, he has no "social" life and he is a little full of himself. I still think it isn't our problem that he plays that much, if his parents feel that its alright then who are we to judge. Like sovieto said, this is the best time in his life for this kind of gaming, when his only concerns are school and family.

As for your outstanding game time, amazing. I have not purchased that games yet, as I don't like soccer, but I'm amazed at your amount of game time.
