Sales Tax on Wii Points

I find it kind of odd that I can get Wii Points cards for cheaper at work ^^

Here In Quebec Ita Cheaper Online

I PAID 13.86$CAN for a 1000 points online....

in store with our 13.95% tax rate its:28.50$can for 2000 points

so quick math:

28.50/2=14.25 $can....

14,25-13.86$can= 0.39$can !!!!! wow:lol:

AND I CAN SIT NAKED IN MY COUCH WHILE I'M DOING THIS....:ihih:

So i wont buy point in store except if the exchange rate is not in my favor...:yesnod:

i bought something off of the nintendo website and it said that if you lived in one of these states (and it listed like 20 of them) that you will be charged your state's sales tax.. nintendo must have some sort of location or store in those states.. sadly, my pennsylvania was one of them so i got hit with the 6%.. it most likely through the shop channel wherever you are located you will be hit with taxes accordingly, just like in person or online.

I'm in Kentucky and the first time I purchased points (1000 pts on 2/5) I didn't get charged sales tax.

But... when I purchased my second time (2000 pts on 2/15) I WAS charged sales tax.

So just because you don't get charged once, doesn't mean they won't change it.

yeah us ontario people...get charged the MI tax...then they convert it canadian

so 10 dollars (USD) then 6% tax.(Michagen tax)..(so 11.60) then some exchange rate so its around $13.40 depending how the money value is...

source->me on the phone with nintendo for like 10 minutes asking!
