Avast, ye landlubbers (and other such piratical expressions that are compulsory when writing about pirate games), Reef Entertainment’s high-seas adventure extravaganza, Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle, arrives today for the Wii. The game is the work of BAFTA-nominated adventure game writer Steve Ince and developer Wizarbox, marking the follow-up to the popular So Blonde adventure game. The storyline, which is set in the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] Century, centers around a young girl, Morgane Castillo, who grows up to be one of the most feared and respected pirates of the Caribbean, and who sets out on a mission to locate the mysterious treasure of the Golden Turtle. Along the way you also have to help Morgane find a crew, impress her father and avoid the pit-falls and traps laid by her nemesis, Hilary Simpkins, who just also happens to be the villain from So Blonde! During the course of the adventure you’ll get to visit 50 locations and meet 40 unique characters. If you're after an entertaining point-and-clicker from a master of the genre, then look no further than this little beauty.
