I've posted a message the other day in a Thread in the On-line section and that's fine. Today I posted another message and after about 10 minutes it dissapeared. I then posted another which also vanished a few minutes later. Tried again and the post vanished seconds after posting. Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks

was it an in appropriate post, if it was mods may have deleted it.

The stuff you are posting is either crap, has been moved to an appropriate section, or has already been talked about ad nauseum.

*Moved to the right section.
TheStakes, If you read the rules, and showed any interest in actually being a positive influence in this community, you would have known that you aren't to post completely off topic posts in random threads.
Any off topic posts like that will be deleted.
You are new though, so it's alright. From now on please post things in the right section and do not spam.

No to both of these. It was in the "Share friends Codes" post, just posted my console number and asked a question about PMing on the forum, can't see that being not appropriate.

Also, if you have any questions like that, there are specific places to ask them.
Or, you can even ask me or any of the moderators personally, and we will help.

Off topic posts like what where? I was sharing my code in the share code forums, how was that off topic????

Was it you that moved/deleted the posts?

Whether it was me, or any other moderator is not important.
But to answer your question, those particular posts were deleted because you had already posted your friend code earlier, and it is not needed a second time in the same thread.

The reason I asked if it was you was so that we could have a discussion about it. It seems a bit mad to do what was done by whoever done it. When the first message was removed I then posted again and asked where it had gone, do you not think it would have been sensible (not to mention more mannerly) to answer the post to explain why instead of deleting it? It could then have been deleted once aknowledged, or even left as a reminder to people who are new about these rules. The person in question then deleted the next post I made, how long would that have gone on for if I had kept posting before someone actually said something to me?

As for the post in question, yes I had posted my code before, however, the reason for the post was to ask if people could add me to test the chat and I thought I would just re-post my code to make it easier. If this is a big problem then a reply would have served a lot better.

read the rules before you join  then you don't have to ask why your posts are being deleted.

The post your wii code thread has hundreds of posts, why would the mods let it get even more cluttered up with someone double-posting...and then a reply telling someone not to double-post?

You can message me if you want to talk about this further.
Or you can learn from this experience and follow the rules from now on.
Either way, this discussion doesn't need to continue here, it's just a waste of space.
Thanks.

As above, read my post. It was not double posting. I did give my console number again, but there was more to the message that you probably didn't even see so aren't really qualified to discuss it. As for the reply to the post, if you had read my post you would see that I said that the post could have been deleted after I acknowledged the reason it was deleted. All I wanted was to see if it was a problem or if someone was deleting them and if so then tell me why.

im taking the prez's advice now, this thread is a waste of space.

TheStakes: people were just answering your questions, you didnt follow the rules your post got deleted... deal with it. as for the rest of this thread you have just been complaining and it is pointless, save it for your blog.

anyways as with everyone else, i'm done with this thread.

I Can't, as I put in the bottom of my first message (as I didn't think it warranted a new thread all by itself) I CAN'T PM ANYONE!!!

As far as I am aware, I did not break any forum rules. My post was not a "double post". I posted my details previously. I then posted a messge asking for someone to add me so that I could get it tested as no-one had replied previously, and at the same time I added my console number again.

And isn't this the ideal place for this discussion?

And have you deleted my reply to AW4L on the Share Code Thread? Why? it was a reply telling him I added him, how else will he know to add me to his Wii?? Or is replying to post on that thread against the rules? If it is then you have a lot of posts to delete, or are you just picking on me now?

1. No they were not, there were deleting posts whithout giving reaosn (hence my new thread asking why there were being deleted).

2. No, some people were just butting it.

3. Bye, thanks for your input.
