Thank so very much. I felt like a Pokemon from Pokemon Battle Revolution used its "Confusion" attack on me. but its all gone now. Now which icon is #21?
 
hmm, then that means 22 might not be the final icon...
 
Well, only 15 days untill a pleathora of japanese spoilers are released on YouTube. Still want to keep guessing?
 
4 more icons would make it to 25(since 19 is yet to be revealed).....25 seems like a good, balanced number, and it was the number of the roster for melee
1. megaman
2. kingdom hearts
3. golden sun
4. star tropics(lesser known one)
 
I agree. 25 is a good number for series icons. that just means more characters, of course thats good.
 
1)NiGHTS (I'm not going to drop it...)
2)Phoenix Wright (EPIC wish)
3)Lost Vikings "SNES" (A little unknown but so was Ness. Eric the Swift)
4)Sora (Filler...)
 
Yes I really liked this update! :D Pikmin and Olimar are some of my favourite characters, I can't wait to try that team out.

I think Olimar was a stroke of genius on Sakurai's part. I personally love the idea of more obscure characters being added.

I hope that Olimar is the last of the newcomers, if not the las character to be added period. I know that there are a lot of people pulling their hair out over this but I'd rather play with Olimar than with someone like Sora, or even Megaman.

I mean you know god forbid they try something Original here folks! That'll never work right? I mean hell back in Classic, and Melee I NEVER thought jigglypuff would be worth a damn, only to learn MUCH later that suh a seemingly weak character can 1-hit-ko amost anyone if used right.

So that goes to show you that there is potential for seemingly stupid and useless characters to be pretty dank when given a chance.

I hope that Olimar takes up at least 3 more updates: with a mve set, FSA, and a Stage...maybe even an AT. Anything to keep the number of remaining Brawlers to a minimum.

The less we have in Quantity , the more we'll have in Quality. And that to me is more important. I guess I'm alone in thinking this.

Well, Japan gets it the 24th so we'll know almost everythhng about it by then.

I agree with you on Sore and Mega-man but If you thought Jigglypuff was horrible before you tried her how do you know it won't be the same with Sora or Mega-Man?
 
I just think that obvious candidates like those two (sora and MM) show a lack of creativity on Sakurai's part. Both hailing from series heavy in combat, it's rather easy to design a moveset for those kinds of characters. No real thinking involved here, except on what games to draw all your content from.

Now take someone like Olimar, whose main purpose was exploration and puzzle-solving and you have kind of a blank slate. All he could do I'm sure most thought would be throw pikmin around, since that was his main form of attacking in the series. So coming up with a decent, and workable move set for someone like him would be a challenge, and also a chance to use your creative side.

I liked the idea of Captain Falcon in the original more than I liked link, since like Olimar, Falcon was out of his element here, he is origionally and in my eyes will always be a racer not a fighter. So playing as him and mastering his moves was an enjoyable experience for me since it gave new insight to a character I never thought I'd see in a fighter. And here Olimar presents the same challenge to me.

That is why I'd rather see more like him than to see characters like Sora or MM in the game.
