Because the odds are against it being playable worldwide, and I'm European. Strikers was region locked, so I'm guessing this will be too because lag could seriously affect your gameplay...

I wouldn't be surprised if all of the sudden Sakurai announces that and asks us for forgiveness in his site, and it would really be sad, but I really don't think it will happen.

Hey, all games were meant to be wifi compatible worldwide before the Wii came out, and I guess they've encountered a couple of problems. I can't see them fixing it because it is their first console that uses wifi, they need to improve their systems, and there's always lag.
You've even seen lag in a lot od DS games, and they can't be anywhere near as complex as Wii games, I wouldn't like my opponent to suddenly fall of the edge, gloat, and then somehow, end up falling myself.
I would love to play you guys but I really doubt it'll happen; and now I'm stuck with the french.

pokemon revolution has worldwide...i think thats the only one and i prefer pressing "X" to jump....and we will all see if tapping or pressing to jump will dominate.....when the games comes out.
