I'm pretty sure they're going to fill in the rest of the character moves and FSA's pretty soon.
They still have just enough room in the newcomers side for one more portrait.
Unless they decide to expand the fields to allow for more characters, which seems unlikely this late in the game considering all the half-assed updates we get lately.
I'm thinking they will wait until the very end to divulge the last newcomer. So I think we're most likely going to see moves and FSA's soon or more information as to what can be done with online matches,as well as more subspace plot and info. And of course there will be a few more crappy updates like Pokemon and such.
Is it just me or are all the fields under the different categories only able to fit 12 portraits?
if so then the only ones with room left unless they enlarge them would be the newcomers field and the Pokemon field.
But then maybe there will be a lot less Pokemon, since there are only 5 released thus far and the "what are Poke balls?" wasting a space.

i cant sleep, i got this feeling a good update is apporaching.....waits and waits

We knew they were going to use friend codes; so once again we have common knowledge regurgitated for the um-teenth time masqueraded as an "offical update".
I'm pretty sure that only one of the updates this week with actually be worth reading. Since most of the things that Sakurai uses for updates are either widely accepted assumptions or common knowledge amongst gamers PRIOR to him stating them as "official" updates.
Either he does not understand that the average Brawl enthusiast will most likely successfully conduct their own research, or he doesn't realize the majority of the "updates" he posts already exist on wikpedia or are pretty much taken for granted, and considered obvious.

Why? We knew it would use fiend codes, so why get annoyed? Why did you expect a big update on Dec 3rd anyway? Because that was the American release date? Not sure if you know, but theres the rest of the world here too guys, why would one countries release be more important than another?
