i dont care much about any new mario chars they put in. the only newcomer chars im worried about are the ones (or one) coming from metroid and fire emblem

She will no doubt be the fastest character in brawl. (well i consider her a sub-character since certain criteria has to be met in order to play as her)
Even snake's video on ZSS mentions her speed. So its safe to say that's her trump card.
And then there's Ike. Well he seems to be more like Roy to me than Marth? (Roy had more flashy moves although wasn't Marth the stronger of the two?..haven't played melee in years)
He's probably gonna be a powerhouse character, maybe easy to avoid his attacks but if they hit they will hurt. Just me speculating here.
I hope the last Newcomer shows up for the holidays and the rest of the time we get pokemon or At's or may be more stages?
Also the last newcomer has to be a nintendo specific character since we already have two 3rd party characters in there. No need for more, and if they have to then make it someone from microsoft's camp so we can at least have one rep. from each side.
No lame KH characters, no re-hashed final fantasy characters (since there is not continuity in the series what so ever why even bother trying to represent it?),and besides even though Snake is from Kojima not Sony, it still should count for their representative.
And Sega is no longer in the console wars business and is Ninty's ally. But still they were a rival at a point in time. They have their rep. Sonic. So that leaves one more...
Microsoft. We need a player from their camp to join the roster to make it fair. But there is really no way to meet the criteria set b Sakurai and get a Microsoft character in there..unless you got for Joana Dark (Perfect Dark 64). But they would have to do some tweaking due to the guns issue. Other than her I know of no other video game character that was originally on our side who transitioned over.

I realize sonic is fast..I didn;t take him into consideration. But I think ZSS will be on par with him as far as speed goes.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Ike is stronger and slower than Roy, as of the E3 demo's. He also has invincibility frames during especially strong moves, and could easily be debated as being a heavyweight.Monsteroids said:

Zero Suit Samus Defiantly won't be the fastest (or even one of them) in Brawl. Her speed increases, but she will at the very most be as fast as Fox. That's what I say, anyways.

I suspect she'll be like Captain Falcon in speed.

I think choosing him as an AT was a good choice.
Next Week I think it's either Captain Falcon or another third party
I don't particularly like Falcon but he had a gr8 skillset and also he might not be in the starting line up just a bonus character to unlock.
