4. The Final Fantasy game's story-lines are not linked. Final Fantasy IX appeared on the PSX, and only that.

Vivi has never made an appearance on a Nintendo console, which is one of the requirements Sakurai set.

If anyone saw todays update they would have noticed that it seems that villains will play a big part in the adventure mode, plus Sakurai said most characters will be unlocked in adventure mode which leads me to beileve that there will be a lot of playable villains from most of the games series except Ice Climbers and any other series like that. So that could mean, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Dr. Robotnik, Who ever Lucas's enemy is, Who ever Donkey Kongs villain is, ect.

Can anyone think of any other villains from the other series' from the game?

And on that note here's a list of confirmed characters and their enemy(s).

Mario, Peach, Yoshi=Bowser, Wario
Pit=Medusa
Samus=Ridley
Dk, Diddy Kong=King K. Rool
Ike=Ashnard
Kirby=Meta Knight, King Dedede
Sonic=Dr. Robonik

Pkmn Trainer, Pikachu=There are many options for this.

Yes, I even included Mario and Bowser and the Ice Climbers only enemy is a condor who doesn't have a name (that I know of) so it might be an assist trophy but it will not be a playable character.
