The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

I literally did 12 runs on the same dungeon last night and the only piece of battle mage gear that dropped was the coat, which I already had. Ugh...

Meanwhile, I got two Narga mantle when farming Green Nargacuga for fun. Life sure ain't fair, even digital ones.

... That's probably my eighth or so mantle, yet I still need more. ._.;

I can't get anything done in Terraria. I don't feel like I've enough time to explore before night comes and have to hole myself up until sunrise.

Sounds like every day in Don't Starve. Gotta love it.

More DS2 multiplayer. Most people I've encountered are using greatswords. While they pack a punch even if I block, I've had no trouble just enduring their initial attacks until they run out of stamina. Afterwards, I just spam R1 and they die. I'm a bit surprised that I'm having little trouble in fights despite the game having a devoted online community.

There was also a clever guy who used some sort of poisoned lance. It quickly built up when he did that spin move. It's a weak weapon, so he switched to a mace while he waited for the poison to finish me off. I out-flasked the poison, which negated his strategy. Then it's a matter of backstabbing him and more R1 spam.

I've five Narga mantle and have no idea where half of 'em came from. One from long ago, one from today (Cloudy Moonshard too), three from 'Karp knows where.

... I ain't complainin'. Lucent armor, here I come. Perhaps a weapon as well once I come across another Moonshard.

If he had you poisoned, he should have had constant pressure. The best thing to do with poison is to pressure someone at all times so they're forced into blocking, if they go to recover then you just finish them off.

Dung Pies are too fun, imo.

I've returned to Moga Woods for a time t' get that there Argosy License award (and also a bunch of rare trade goods in the process, for other awards). In-so-far, I deeply regret not huntin' Barroth, Gobul and Lagi when they were around, as they're outright refusin' to show their faces... though I did get night time-Lagi's rare commodity.

Also, it's boring. Low/high rank monsters, with a 3-minute waiting period between spawns, is tedious. Though I reckon most'a my boredom comes from the annoying grind that was makin' Mosgharl armor via still-recent Moga Woods farming. Indeed, solo-ing in Monster Hunter holds little appeal for me anymore. Though I do miss the challenge.

Been doing a lot of mass breeding l8ly. Have quite a few perfect/near perfect Sableye, Gulpin, and Stunfisk (thx dirge). Now that I have those out of the way, I'll probably start some other projects. Petalstorm is gonna help me get perfect ocean pattern Vivillon, one of my favorite patterns after monsoon. Some other options are Inkay, Helioptile (thx traggy), Snorlax/Munchlax, Pumpkaboo, and Zubat. Speaking of Zubat, Golbat's XY animation can eat a dick...it was infinitely better in the old 3D games. If anybody is interested in a perfect/near perfect (by perfect I mean 5 IV, actually) specimen of any of those, shoot me a VM...err, PM.

Reached the last area of FTL. Ominous boss music plays and a different set of rules and objectives has sprung up. I think I will take a break from it for now. Can't bear to lose it all right now. Which I will, because there's no way I should've made it this far with the way I played.

I've obtained the daytime Lagi and Barroth commodities, meaning all that remains to be found is the Gobul commodity (or so I believe). I've no intent on hoping for a random spawn, so I'll just **** around for a good 100~ hours of multiplayer 'til the miraculous day it actually appears in the forecast. Back to the "complete every quest ever" goal for me.
