What's your pokemon team?

ok ok revive.Need suggestions from people who have played this game past emerald. I watch pokemon vids on youtube from time to time so i know a few things. I know a team with switch initiative, hazards, priority it probably the best bet but having trouble fitting it in my team with my big and beautiful SLAKING. Also nick names for the others would be nice. I was thinking different hamburger helper flavors but he. Heres my team:

Handburger (Slaking) @Life orb( f choice band when you got hand burger helper). My star pokemon, love it. He eats everything up, mm yummmmy.
Jolly
252 spd/252 attack/4 hp
Truant
-Return
-Earthquake
-Pursuit
-Ice punch

Handburger Helper (Cofagrigus) @Leftovers
Sassy
252 HP/252 sd/4 atk
Mummy
-Knock off
-will-o-wisp-
-hex
-pain split

Gligar @Toxic orb
Impish
252 hp/4 atk/252 def
Immunity
-Earthquake
-Toxic
-Roost
-Protect
Hes ok. I'm think of taking of a move or two and put acrobatics.. struggle to do anything but stall.

Sharpedo @Life orb
Jolly
252 atk/252 spe/ 4 spd
Speed boost
-Crunch
-Waterfall
-DESTINY BOND( aqua jet probably huh)
-Protect

Cresselia @ Leftovers(other item?) thinking about just switching it out for another pokemon. originally had meloetta. idk struggling with this spot.
Modest?
252 hp/252 sp atk/252 spd
Levitiate
-Psychic
-Thunder wave
-Icy wind
-LUNAR DANCE( lol idk. like the move, surprises people who think they took care of my slaking and then he comes back to eat some more)

Amoongus @ Black sludge
Modest
252 hp/252 sp atk/ 4 spdef
Regenerator
-Spore
-Giga drain
-sludge bomb
-synthesis

Sharpedo <3 nice set, but it should be Adamant.

What the heck is going on with Gligar? It's not Gliscor, keep Immunity (it's good for defensive Pokemon) but replace Toxic Orb with Eviolite. Protect also isn't worth a slot, replace it with Knock Off, Defog, Taunt, or somefin. Probs Defog since you lack any other hazard remover, not that your team is particularly hazard weak. And for that matter, you lack a Stealth Rock setter. Maybe have both moves on it? Earthquake/SR/Roost/Defog looks nice.

What's up with the max special attack on Cresselia and Amoongus? Put those in defenses. I'm not entirely sure which, both can function defensively from either side. At least one of them should be max sp. defense though. Also, Ice Beam > Icy Wind, and replace one of the moves with Moonlight. Probably Healing Wish since you only have two sweepers (well, Slaking is more of a wallbreaker/revenge killer due to its ability I guess) and that's what Healing Wish compliments best. If you want to add more Pokemon that could use its support, be my guest.

I think Cofagrigus works better physically defensive, ghost types lean towards that as well as the fact that its physical defense is a lot higher than its special defense. Hex is a bit of an odd choice but it's viable enough with the power increase this gen.

Didn't look into the synergy much, but I guess it's good.

So thats it. help fish boy. no more of other name lol…
you better mean it
also, I exist

Quagsire
Ability: Damp

lol'd

replace damp with unaware, put toxic or somefin over ice punch, make the nature relaxed, and you're good to go

Torkoal @ Assault Vest
Ability: White Smoke
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 140 SpA / 12 SpD
Serious Nature
- Eruption
- Earth Power
- Sludge Bomb
- Overheat

well then
I'm not going to question your use of torkoal, even if it is...well, torkoal. Too lazy to look into the synergy of this team too, for the record. Anyway, Assault Vest doesn't seem bad on Torkoal at a glance, though replace eruption with rapid spin and overheat with fire blast. I can't think of a reason sludge bomb is here aside from azumarill, seems kinda meh

Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

dazzling gleam seems a tad eh, just use recover or somefin. Life Orb would go better with recover.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 100 Def / 152 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake

it works I guess, but levitate is bestest

Altaria @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 140 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Dragon Pulse
- Moonblast
since when was tank altaria a thing? friendly reminder that it has base 70 attacking stats. Just use a support set with Heal Bell, Roost, Dragon Pulse, and Roar, or somefin like that, Toxic and Draco meteor are other good options at a glace. Megataria will have more things it can do when it starts existing.

Altaria @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 140 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Dragon Pulse
- Moonblast

I will probably give Altaria a mega stone once Alpha Ruby and Omega Saphire comes out. Also Heatran can replace Torkoal.

first storm returns

then i find a random altaria card in with my yugioh cards

NOW THIS

WHAT THE KARP IS THIS?

replace damp with unaware

Unless it's female.

So for Alpha Sapphire I've been using a team of Azumarill, Roserade, Exploud, Blaziken, shiny Metagross and Golem. I also managed to win all the master rank contests without biting my 3DS.
I decided, in the months leading to the release, to base my team around Pokemon that have drastically improved since the originals. This only really ended up decided half of my team, though (the first three listed.) I guess technically Blaziken would count, but mine doesn't have Speed Boost until I mega-evolve it, unlike its X counterpart.
The game ended up being a breeze, so I decided that from this day on I would always turn off exp. share when playing through a 6th gen. game.

ORAS COMPETETIVE TEAM

CROBAT @ Red Card
Adamant
Infiltrator
EVs: 252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
- Acrobatics
- Cross Poison

Set works well. The 4th slot is up for debate as to find whether I want him to take crux items away from the opponent or to be an anti-lead through Taunt.

Elektross @ Assault Vest
Modest
Levitate
EVs: 252 SpDef, 112 SpAtk, 144 Hp
- Thunder/Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain

- Roost

Malamar @ Life Orb
Impish
Contrary
EVs: 252 Hp, 212 Atk, 48 Def
- Superpower
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
- Return???

Really don't know what to bother putting in the last slot.

Gyarados @ Weakness Policy
Jolly

- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
