lol, yeah, the eye toy is an amazing piece of technology.

Its amazing what they are doing with it. They have CCGs that can be recognized and triggered in game. There was that one guy that held up two cups and the in game cups moved as he moved them in real life, picking up virtual water and pouring it out. I can only imagine how a light saber game would work. It can basically recognize movement, like holding a wiimote but its approach is different. Sony said they like the hardware feedback on motion sensing better than camera feedback though.

It will most likely come with a game to make up for it. Either way, 100 isnt a big deal if theres a good game. For good games, im willing to spend a lot. I would have payed 100 for FF7 when it first came out, getting it for half that was a steal in my opinion.

looks like it has a tumor lol. the motion sensing stuff is mostly software based anyways so i dont see whey they should make it look cooler just to get people to pay more. the most they did was upgrade some hardware and enhance the quality

Hopefully it isn't like the last eyetoy, I like it, but there just wasn't enough fun involved with it. Maybe they'll have more games that use this for online in different chatrooms in servers for games.

More money to sink into the PS3. This should have came with the system at launch. This is why I bought a Wii. If I want a fun game I only need $5-$10. If I want a new feature I wait a month or two for a free new channel.

If anyone owned the original Eyetoy they know why it didn't make any decent foothold in the game industry. It was no God of War in terms of sales.
