Why does this thread exist?

Long term? I think it will be a close tie between PS3 and XBox360.
Over the next 6 months to a year?
The 360 followed by the Wii, with the PS3 trailing far, far behind.

1. wii -because of its one of a kind gameplay and price
2. xbox360- becuase of its price compared to the ps3 with almost the same graphics
3. ps3-beacuse price aint so great for the average joe if they drop the price to $400 then ps3 would easily be #2 but for now dead last

i agree, the ps3 is just way too much...the xbox 360 is just...same old thing.

I think the 360's been very successful and I think the demand for Wii was underestimated by Nintendo itself. Ps3.. I'm shocked, I expected a huge success with people going crazy over it.. I look at figures on this NexGenWar site (or whatever it is) and I feel that they've somehow lost it, they *****-slapped the SEGA Dreamcast (lovely console) with their Ps2 (nice console) but unfortunetly, 360 appears to have ***** slapped back. I've always seen the Xbox as the child of the Dreamcast, even though it has no connection to the console at all.

ohh another thing as why nintendo is ganna win they do not have a new tech on there console that needs to succeed if they want there console to be number 1 well xbox to its just an addon hd dvd . for sony they reallly really need blu-ray to win the dvd wars since they had some failed like beta max got beat by vhs , umd failed cause sony were the only ones that made the little cds and to make a movie that company needed sonys approval . ive read this in a hardware forum lol -

-all the failed formats did not support porn take alook betamax failed did not support porn vhs won it had porn on it . vhs and dvd both had porn but dvds won prabably because of picture quality and sound ..umd failed it also did not have porno on it. see a pattern here .


now we have 2 new formats hd dvd and blu-ray who do you think will win who ever supports porn id say from lookin in the past track record of the failed formats lol ..thats why nintnedo will win this video game console wars they do not have anything to depend on for there new system to succeed no new form of format or rom type of product. well thas what i think lol now flame me if you want but make sure you flame me good lol..and no i am not one of them guys that watches porno i have a life and a falmily
