Wiimote Battery Guide - Don't let it eat you up too!

I've got a wimpy rayovac charger and 4 AA batteries.

Been using them for my digital camera, been working wonders for a year. But they'd be able to last like... 2-3 hours... Ish.

Might needa pick up some better batteries.

PS, never seen the USB batteries before. Strange things, they are.

bump bump this should be stickied! btw USB batteries. That is cooOOooOL! I wonder how long they last though. The the charge time?

i got a 15 minute charger and 2700 mah batteries(the biggest so far) from uniross.com specialists in rechargable batterys and u can charge them over 1000 times

also i guarentee that the usb batteries will be **** and not last as long because think about it 1/3 of the battery is the usb connection so it can hold less charge than a normal battery wich is all power

don't wry about that, I made sooo many guides yet none have ever been stickied
for example, what to expect from wii at launch and my guide to camping/staying in line/ how to get a wii on launch... none stickied so that doesn't matter
Anywho yea USB batteries are pretty cool, its nice to hear new ideas like these comming up :)

wow, USBCells! I never knew those even existed...and its such a amazing yet practical idea! Im going to get some right away.

There is an energizer and charger combo on sale that should be a must with every wii purchase. I went through about 3 pairs of batteries within the first 2 weeks. It goes without saying...get rechargeables.

That USB battery is wierdb but cool

I agree with the USBattery being a cool concept, but I still consider it a novelty right now. I don't think it could hold as much juice.

I bought 15 Hyundai AA batteries from the 1£ store... woo :D
Bet they will be good!

I have about 100 AA batteries from disposable cameras. They seem to last really long in everything i use them in. I haven't changed the batteries in my mouse or keyboard in 8 months=.

USB batteries are not cool. They are unconvenient and have pisspoor power.

I don't know about you, but I have more outlets in my house than I have USB ports.

A few months ago Radioshack was having a close out on their 15 minute rechargable batteries so I picked up the charger and several packs. They are friggin sweet. I use them in my camera, cordless mouse, 2 wii-motes, electric razor and a couple other things I can't remember at the moment. I just wish I could still find more of the batteries.
