Sorry to change the subject.. but has anyone ever noticed that there's a music clip on the Japanese version of Kirby's FSA?

I'm not quite sure what to make of it..

It annoys me when each version is slightly different, like on one of the Snake updates the US version had about 4 videos, whereas the UK version had 1!

But I wonder what this music is for, do we know if the music changes whilst a FSA is being performed? Because it could be Kirby's FSA music, maybe?

I highly doubt that the music will change when an FSA is executed. Seeing as how several smash balls could possibly show up in quick succession, and that music clip was roughly a minute long (smash attacks usually take probably around 5 seconds maximum to perform if they are dealing direct damage, as kirby's will be.) Although for all the cute little cooking animations they may stretch his out a little. But it won't be long enough to play that entire clip I'm sure.

If you had multiple FSA's going off one after the next,either the music clips would overlap and sound distorted, or they would have to slow down the entire game to allow for the atmosphere to change to fit each FSA, and each music clip to play through.

i got a feeling pretty soon we're gonna see a (U HEARD IT FROM ME 1ST) a "Retro Mode". which basically will let you fight with multi version of a charchter. EX like how street fighter anniversary for ps2 let u use ryu from all previous games.

so u could have matches like N64 mario vs Brawl mario vs Melee Link vs N64 pikachu.

get the idea? i wouldnt mind it, it be good for trash talking "i bet i can beat u with N64 fox" lol.

interesting but then how would FSA's work when using old school sprites?

Nice idea but I think you're more likely to find SSB on VC then to have it incorporated into Brawl.

As ELM said, the FSA + updated moves and such wouldn't work out.

thats kinda the point, they wouldnt have final smashes. the fact Smash bros will be on VC makes all the more reason to include this into the game. it'd just be something funny to do. N64 link vs Melee link vs Brawl link...id like to watch that match ha.

It would be cool if they could get it to work but I don't see it happening...I'm thinking a mode update tommorrow

N64 Link and Brawl Link are two different sprites. You're talking about changing the sprites.

sigh.........ok yes duh they have to be different sprites, but im not sayin have the old sprites as alternate costumes...im saying have the fighting style and sprite of the N64 link vs the style and sprite of melee link vs brawl link.

i dont know any other way to explain this.

so N64 link would do his Up + B like he did then vs how Melee does his...get it?

If you were to fight the n64 link vs. GCN link vs. Young Link vs, Brawl Link. Is that even a fair challenge? Brawl would win hands down.

The FSA is too big a factor in matches to even consider the idea of the older sprite winning. The only way that GCN sprites could possibly stand a chance is with Wavedash.

So the theory was a good try but execution of such a feature would really screw up the game.

thats the point, wouldnt u be embaressed if i beat u with the N64 link against the Brawl link? for some people they may like particular styles better than others. like for example the N64 luigi vs GCN luigi...or the GCN fox may end up being better overall than the Brawl fox...minus the final smash. and for the sake of this mode the FSA may/can be turned off

u gotta remember the lag in some of the N64 attacks is not even present.
example: Dk's air intercept attack is instant vs GCN Dk where it takes a second to exucute an takes some recovery time

what about the fact that melee is faster than brawl, the pacing is just quicker.

yes thats the point. and N64 is even faster. but GCN has better attacks as far as juggling and range. but if u go back and play N64 u notice the attacks are stronger. for example N64 kirby would POUNCE GCN kirby anyday, FACT. and in my opinon fox on N64 is better than GCN in terms of strength.
