meh, i dont think the gamemodes that u unlock things with will be online. like say ur doin the subspace emissary online, and when its done, both people get the chars or whatever unlock. i doubt nintendo would make the effort to that, but its highly possible im wrong, considering the time they've takin on brawl. plus, the delay was made to improve the online, (or at least thats what ive read) so maybe we will say online gamemodes

Miyamoto (i think i spelled right..) announced this:

You will use your current roster that you have for singleplayer for your online matches. If your opponent picks a character you havent unlocked then it will be spoiled for you. Not much more has been announced besides that. But i think that for subspace emmisary you must start from the beginning to play with a friend and wherever you leave off will be saved (i think)

Sounds familiar but i might be mistaking it as the co-op update, in which case it hasn't been announced yet. But thats a great idea making the SE online!

As dumb as that was, I have to say, it's relatively true...too many peoples are whining. Nowhere near everyone though =P

When? The first part of that sounds like Sakurai's post, and Co-Op Subspace has NOT been confirmed to be online. Unless he just switched subjects rather quickly?

Damn, I'm really not up to posting too much today...let's just say it's been a REALLY bad day. =[

Good update IMO. I like how they've incorporated a pic into each event before you select it. Gives you a better idea of what character you should pick. Co-op event modes will be awesome. Hopefully most of the co-op events are harder, so a hi five is appropriate. I hate giving out hi fives for no reason, really grinds my gears.

I'm torn on the new update...the stage seems. Well I dunno..a bit bland?

I mean it inverts 180 degrees, that's ok. But the PArasite queen in the background is like Kraid was in the stage in melee. Just there, doesn't do anything.

If she fired the energy Beam from Prime 1 then we'd have something nifty, but she just sits there in her stasis cell. Ah well it's not TOO bad I suppose.

The music from Earthbound (Mother 3) was worth it though. That game always makes me smile..Ah, childhood memories..anyways I think we were overdue for a new stage, so it's nice we got something.

Well, we finally got a stage from Prime...even if it merely replaces Brinstar Depths, at least we know Sakurai's team has played some of the newer installments =P Very promising for other stages and musics IMO...

And the Mother 3 music was pretty cool ^_^

i agree, nice to see they are acknowledging more metroid games lol.

also, my VC update prediction to coincide with brawl (long shot!)

Super Smash Bros 64 (N64)
Mother 3(whatever system it came out on) or Earthbound
if another one, it will be...Megaman. Because I think megaman is the last new guy in the game.
