I think all of those are pretty unlikely to be honest. And Batman is like impossible.

I think that all the characters that were once in Smash Bros but were scrapped (Roy, Mewtwo, Pichu, Young Link, Dr. Mario, and maybe others that I'm forgetting) should be Assist Trophies. Well, except for Pichu and Mewtwo, who would be Poke Ball characters.

I thought Snake was an awkward choice yet he fit in nicely

Masked Link is also not that bad and is somewhat likely to get in (Especially if they make a 3D version of it)

Ephraim is also likely because he is non-sword user and a lord. Plus he is in a DLC for FE: Awakening
(Which also has Roy and Lyn and others)

Where is your logic for that? Batman is a non Nintendo character, didn't originate from a video game, and would be really awkward.

I think all the characters I named have a chance of getting in, with Wright being the least likely for sure, followed by N. Though looking back on it, N may have more of a chance then a thought due to his sheer popularity.

Anyway Batman is an iconic character and has been around since 1939. Something that old can't originate from a video game. However he has been successful in the video game market starting with the NES and has grown more popular in video games ever since (Arkham City and even Lego Batman).
Overall he has been in the gaming industry for almost as long as video games themselves and he has had success with it.
