Hahaha, that was actually a typo, they never seem to miss me in irony.
Youse is actually a plural of you in my dialect, and I use it.

i agree, if you have to put someone down for what some says on the internet... well then that's just sad.Chewy said:So you are saying that people that post with grammatical errors are less superior people?
Are you serious?
Just because someone has less smarts than another person, whether book smarts or street smarts, doesn't make them less of a person. There is a lot more to life than just intelligence.
On top of that, a persons grammar on a forum is an extremely inaccurate way to measure intelligence. Some people just don't care about perfect grammar. Amongst those people are some brilliant poets.

Cpt.McCloud said:In this instance it wasn't been used as a term for addressing multiple people it was 'use' and completely different.
It is pronounced the same that's where the similarity ends.
Cpt.McCloud said:Then why did you bring up 'Youse'
Frogger said:I'm not intelligent, I just know how to use grammar to get my point across correctly. I have said nothing that could make anyone less of a person.
I just think that, when people are writing out a CV, they use correct grammar, which is believed to impress, of course it works, you just earn my respect if you type in correct grammar. It shows that you have the time and actually care about a thread, it's not like you should value every little bit of time you have, but adding in a few more letters will make everything all the better.
Is it just a lie for someone to use correct grammar on their CV when they don't use it online? I see that there is no difference between them, obviously these people do, a CV is potentially used to get you money. I thought people had some good will to at least type orderly when not getting something in return.
I just measure respect to the language, and the readers by using correct grammar, it's just polite. Alright, you can let your slang and speech slip into your posts, I really don't mind that, I'm not typing in an essay manner, I just like to believe that it is conversational. Imagining that people actually talk like that is quite pathetic and not human.
I like you for challenging my opinion, that's what I believe a forum is about, not asking a quick question and getting the hell out.

Don't make me get the scousers on you, because they like a good ginger to feast on. =P
Chewy said:I see what you are saying there.
I have no problem with people talking grammatically incorrect, it just lessens the chance that I'm going to take their posts seriously. And I really don't see the need of abbreviations for things like 4-5 letter words.
Frogger said:Do you honestly believe that text talk is easier to read? Because I personally have to decipher it all the time.
Chewy said:No, where did you get that idea from?
I hate text talk, especially with all those abbreviations changing words into single letters.
