I don't think it said for sure that there would be a Wii version but I guess its pretty safe to assume there will be one.
Hopefully this means that we get NHL 09 as well, as we have had 3 Wii Madden games.

Not a big fan of Madden WII. Its just Madden 05 repackaged.
