Multiplayer for Virtual Console?

So the Virutal COnsole will have multiplayer games, yeah that makes sense I mean if people will buy the wii they will buy these VC multiplayer games, Nintedno will make a profit from this you could even have Super Smash Brothers the orignal as multiplayer

I don't see why they would need to modify the Virtual Console ROMs in anyway, as you can easily play any multiplayer ROM over the net with anyone else who has the same ROM image. This shouldn't be an issue, unless the splitscreen bothers you which is understandable as it gets damn annoyin! unless there is gonna be some inbuilt script in the VC to automatically amplify your designated screen while leaving the original ROM image untouched.

I don't think Goldeneye will make VC because of the problem with Rare, but keep your fingers crossed!

Also, wouldn't the original Super Smash Bros. rock the online gaming world?! Sweeeet! One could only hope...
