Official Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Help Thread

Well I am going to have to trade Metroid off. Can't beat the ice guy to get the ice missiles at all, I have tried everything from getting his armor off and going into hyper mode but at the last I can't for I don't have enough power too. He starts throwing that ice at me and I just can't win at all. Next time I'll rent not buy any more games.

but there is stuff blocking and i have scanned it all. there is a giant wall that has high amounts of maldium but it doesnt blow up or freeze

dont you use the plasma beam for maldium?

Where is there a place where I can kill an unlimited amount of enemies because I want some friend vouchers. I know there is a place in the beginning with all those crabs but I am past that.

Here's My Problem With Complete Detail Of Where I Am And Where I Must Go (or I Think I Must Go):

-i Am Currently In Elysia (east, Where Bomb Pieces Are) And Cannot Use My Ship To Lift Any.

-i Have Lifted The Platform In The Other Room That Revealed A Upgrade Of Map (bryyo) And Upgrade Of Map (the 1st Planet).

-i Figure That I Must Go To Them So I Did. 1st Planet, I Got Up To A Certain Point Where There Was A Door With 4-6 Yellow Dot-like Figures Around The Door. Tried Hypermode With Morph Ball, Didn't Work.

-now I Tried The 2nd Planet. It Seems As Though There Was A Path Of White Dots Displaying On My Map. I Went Into A Room With 3 Stone Guys That You Must Go Into (morph Ball Mode). I Tried 2 Of Them. The 3rd One Had A Purple Thingy On It And When Scanned Said "you Must Release Energy Into This To Blow It Up". Tried The Hypermode Ball, Didn't Work. Tried Normal Bombs, Didn't Work. Tried Everything Else (except Lasso And Missiles).

-then I Went Back To Elsia To Try Picking Up The Other Platforms In The 3 Rooms. None Worked, One Said That There's Something Wrong With The Ship Or Something Like That (it Can't Pick It Up).

what Should I Do???

well, the 5 dots on the door indicate that you need the seeker missile, and the energy might come from some sort of wave beam like in Prime 1, or something. it really helps if you've played the other two metroid prime games.

well i dont know, all i know is that you need the seeker missile, i'm only as far as you are, and now i'm scared that i'm going to be stuck in a metroid prime-like purgatory!! :scared:

I believe you have run into the same problem I had. Read my post at the top of this exact page. (I edited it for clarification)

Also, I have become stuck again. I cannot reach bomb fragments #1 or #3 in SkyTown. The aurora unit tells me to go to a space pirate armory at northeastern skytown.. But my "Screw Attack" seems to not be nearly powerful enough to glide over that large of a gap. I tried going back to the Valhalla and see if I can find a lead down there... I ended up wasting a power cell and finding absolutely nothing. So what do I do now?

If you have the ice missiles, you have to freeze where the fuel gel is coming out of to your right. Then you use the morph ball and cross it, and just travel with the morphball till you find where to go. I believe you jump up and then you'll have to blow something up with the morph ball bombs.

I have the spike jump or whatever it is called, and I went and checked out this one planet when I was told to, forget what its called, but you need energy cells to get further into the building. So what do I need to do, find some energy cells, and if so where? or do I need to do something else first?

ok, so after you get that first bomb component, you have to go through all those hallways w/ the metroids in those containers, and you'll see an area to go in a morph ball in, and you'll end up in a room w/ a power cell which you then take in order to brake the glass and take the seeker missile :smilewinkgrin:

you just need to find the eighty million power cells needed to continue on that level.
