i dont think so because the picture of Zelda in the background would have been in color and the style that it was sketched in doesn't match the style link was drawn on the cover

I think Midna was exiled to the twilight realm by ganondorf's black magic and u'r trying to free her back into the normal world by defeating him. And by doing this u would also be saving Zelda. Just a guess, wut do yall think. I think it's a reasonable theory...
