Wii graphics

I play my bro's wii, however i wouldnt say any of the games we've got are any indication of graphical capability for the system.

What i want to know is, are the nintendo wii's graphics ANY better then the gamecube's graphics?

The gamecube was stunning anyway, just asking though.

Well, the innards of the Wii are either utilizing overclocked versions of GameCube hardware, or have evolved from GameCube hardware.

You know, kinda like graphics cards and CPUs in general.

Theoretically (and mathematically), it should be about twice as powerful as the GameCube, but in all honesty, Nintendo isn't playing the numbers game, so no one outside of NoA, NoJ or NoAnywhere is 100% certain.

Having said that, by numbers alone it must be at least a few percentage points more powerful than the GameCube.
