Think about this: a n00b wouldn't really know much about the system, so it's likely that more professionals would turn on the ability to send the matches to Nintendo than n00bs would. Then we get more quality broadcasted matches.
Furthermore, if a system was set up through forums like smashboards.com where a player does a specific move right as the game starts if he is a professional (like a single A tap) then when watching you'd know whether it'll be a good match or not.
Of course I also though of movement codes to send FC to eachother, but that's a bit of a hassle.
