Sora will NOT be in Brawl. Calm down and get over it.

The 3rd party canididates need to be in at least 2 games on a nintendo system to be included. Chain of memories only counts as one. And the one in development doesn't count towards the stipulation, because that's after the fact.

Also Sakurai also said that third-party characters will amount to one or two at the most, aside from Snake. So I think 2 is more than enough, and both were put in for good reason. One by fan request (Sonic) and one as a favor for a friend and fellow game creator, also fulfilling a promise. (Snake-Who was originally slated for Melee but cut due to time constraints.)

This Sora for Brawl crap needs to end. There is nothing to confirm that Nintendo is in negotiations with any company at this time about putting another character in Brawl.

We all heard the news of Sega wanting sonic in, as well as the poll taken in Japan and Sonic being the No. 1 choice. We knew all this LONG before the announcement.
And the Snake announcement came with the video trailer announcement for the game so that was a given, and also several articles can be found on the internet dating back to before he was announced stating that Kojima was in negotiation with Sakurai.

There is no proof that any more 3rd party characters will be included. Until we have hard evidence of any such negotiations please stop this "OMFG <insert name here> for Brawl!11one!!one!11!eleventyone1111!!!"

Sorry that I keep beating this dead horse but these repetitious posts are getting on my nerves.

The different color variations are an interesting update though..but what if two people chose the exact same character, and color (i.e.-Dark Fox,or Dark Link) That would possibly lead to confusion in an anonymous 2v2 match unless the overhead buddy icon is going to be constantly there. (which is most likely the case)

1. where did you hear this two games nintendo system rule?
2. was there an ice climbers 2, or did they count the re release of it on GBA?
3. sora wont be in brawl because then they would need disney and square assist trophies (nobody really wants a stupid kairi or riku AT, you know if soras in you want freakin keyblade wielding mickey to be summoned to kick some arse)
4. if there is going to be another third party, which i think there will be, it will be megaman.

that guy would have been a really cool character. but we need to see some more magic orientated fighters (like pikachu or ness' style). and more females

and no that wouldnt satisfy me, and im not a KH fanboy. you just dont know how awesome sora is, you have to play the game to know that. there is no real reason sora shouldnt be in, all you can come up with is the trophys thing, and like that's a big deal.
but if we need to continue this argument (if there even is one) we need to take it to the charcter discussion.

That was unexpected. I think he'd be a good enough newcomer personally for a regular slot. The gunblade would be kind of like a make equivalent to zero suit samus though.

But I'm pretty sure he'll be pretty awesome as an AT all the same.

The character update has to be tomorrows update or next Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays update because the month ends next Wednesday

Some things you say agitate me, and that's really not a good sign.

There si proof that there will be more characters in Brawl as of now, Sakurai said the playable roster will be 30 - 40 characters, and we haven't reached that amount yet. Plus, people won't take it lightly if their favourite veterans get in and Sonic does, hardly makes the game Nintendo at all.

If Sora is comfirmed in brawl i will sersouly start a petition to get SSBB2 out whihc is the same game as SSBB but without SORA and if that does not work i will hack the game just to make sora the sandbag and anything else i can possibly do to hurt him. DISNEY GO HIDE UNDER A TREE AND GO #$@%$ YOURSELF sorry if thats harsh
