I think that would be kind of stupid. Cool, but stupid.
Would you really want to watch Mario Pwn Zelda while listening to some classic 80s rock or whatever you like?
It would sound like: Taaake Ooon >Crush< >Waho!< Taaaake mee >Ha!< >BOOM< In a day or TWOO>Clash, bang<OOOOOO!!!!

It just wouldn't sound right.
If you could get a picture and make it into a stage, that would be awesome.

Does not work for me. Both totally different styles.

Cell-shaded Link's graphics would be updated to fit with the Wii. Yes, he would be more cartoony then the other characters, but he'd fit in quite nicely considering all the styles used for the ATs and Stages =P

And he'd just be Young Link with a different shading style, so add the differences he already had from Link in Melee to retaining his moveset where Link's was changed and you might just have more people using him than you think...

And I think the clashing would make it more fun: imagine pitting Link, Zelda, and Sheik in all their graphical glory (if Sheik is part of Zelda again then just use Ganon or Dark Link =P) against a cell-shaded version of Young Link on the Warioware stage with the pixelated ATs turned on! Graphical explosion of awesomeness!!!

I'm hoping cell shading stays out of Brawl as much as possible.

I really don't see a reason fro two links when they are going to have the exact same move set just different graphics. (like young link and OoT like from Melee)

Why not just add an entirely different character instead of wasting code and time copying and slightly modifying existing ones?

On a better note: I like the fact that there are more villains to play as in Brawl. We have Koopa, Metaknight, Dedede, Wario, DK..All these characters played the bad guy in one game or another.
I'm hoping for the Eggplant Wizard to return in some fashion. Either as the last newcomer or as an AT.

I mean he's obscure enough to make for an interesting character, and doesn't Pit deserve a rival as well?

I'm in favor of MP3 music for Wii. Why WOULDN'T you want it? It'd be something that people could use if they wanted to use it, and something that people didn't have to use as well. I'd love to beat the feck out of Kirby with Metaknight while listening to Bullet For My Valentine. :lol:

I doubt it will happen. I just don't think there's a need to make mp3 files compatible with the game.
If there was a channel that would allow you to hook an mp3 player into the usb port and view/play the files on the storage device THEN I could see this possible.
But I can't see sakurai wasting time on implementing such a feature when you can just turn the sound off and listen to your ipod or mp3's off your pc while you play.

Except that my Wii is downstairs and my PCs are upstairs...plus people around me can't hear my iPod. I'm just saying it would be cool. Never said it had a large chance of happening. I'm sure at one point, Sakurai took it into consideration though.

You're retarded. I never said they weren't in there, I said that, by looking at the starting roster, I assumed that you would need to unlock them. I KNOW they're in there. Jeez, I'm getting a lot of crap these days.

I'm sure he did too, but don't you think that a firmware update allowing connectivity to usb storage devices (such as mp3 players) would be a wiser way to go about things?

It just seems illogical that they would work so hard just to add this feature to one particular game and leave ll others out.

i agree with the extra life guy.mp3players are not needed. but it still would be cool if the wii can download any song you desire. a person should be able to buy music with wii points and play the song whenever desired. and shaded link seriously is not needed in the brawl,its just link.
