Well wii, you have to master two characters or one of the two. and if you do that then the other person spends 2x time mastering one.

Now it has to.Extra Life Mushroom said:yes by all means give us more common knowledge updates...and items yeah lots of items and pokemanZ! (i hope that worked lol)
lloyd_yayo said:i guess the pokemon trainer is really unfair since he switches 3 charchters, giving you a total of 9 special B attacks
konomaroh said:On the site it says that if you keep on switching or use one pokemon for to long will make their attacks weaker
Yeah, there's more n00bs every day...terrible grammar and worse intelligence. Getting old. =PRedFox said:You're retarded. I never said they weren't in there, I said that, by looking at the starting roster, I assumed that you would need to unlock them. I KNOW they're in there. Jeez, I'm getting a lot of crap these days.
I don't, I like the combinations of all the different shading styles...I'm hoping cell shading stays out of Brawl as much as possible.
Well first of all, they had different stats and played much differently, even with the same movesets. And secondly, Link's been updated, meaning either Young Link would get updated so his moves fit with Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, or his moves would stay like Melee's for those who don't like the Gale Boomerang etc.I really don't see a reason fro two links when they are going to have the exact same move set just different graphics. (like young link and OoT like from Melee)
Why not just add an entirely different character instead of wasting code and time copying and slightly modifying existing ones?
I don't understand why people think this means he's going to reveal everything. He said he's not too hung up on hidden characters, which is why he A) allowed them to be used online and B) tell us HOW to unlock them. This does NOT mean (from my interpretation) that he doesn't give a damn and will now spoil the entire game.Masahiro Sakurai @ Smash Dojo! said:When you have a battle mode that runs online like Basic Brawl, the problem of what to do with hidden characters arises. If one of your opponents chooses a character you haven’t unlocked yet, it will be spoiled for you immediately.
But even without this mode, given the proliferation of the Internet these days, the existence of hidden characters is going to get exposed anyway.
So, this time I’m moving in the direction of not being too hung up on hidden characters.
You can earn most characters by playing through Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary. For those of you who look forward to those encounters, I recommend you clear this mode before playing Basic Brawl.
And as the case has always been, I’ve made it so you can play the characters you unlock in battles.
