Ok..I'm done with Christmas stuff for a while, the fox is here to share his thoughts...

Sonic FSA - Meh. Already knew it. I was more interested with my copy of SMG, which is GOD-LIKE by the way.

Trophy Stands - Crap...now I'm going to spend hours/days/weeks/months/year(s) trying to get all the freakin' trophies.

that was my favourite aspect from melee(only needed 2 more....), and this update has made me look forward to brawl

Wow. A nifty little mini game to make trophy collecting actually fun? :yikes:

Sakuria have you thought of everything except the obvious? (headset support)

I mean sure I know the Online functions were added late in production, and there is much that can't be done online that can be done off line (tourney mode,co-op,ect..) so it makes me think that he didn't really want to do it, or he wanted to play it safe and not try to break any serious ground in the online gaming aspect.

I think this was made to be more of a party game (everyone gathered around the same wii) instead of a single player or online game. because the majority of the content is geared towards multi player but not necessarily online multi player.

My point in all this is: Since the game seems to revolve around actual social interaction in order to get the most out of it, then I doubt he will see the need for headset support. Since obviously he plans on us hosting wii party s instead of socializing via online with Brawl.
There is little hope that we will see a option for headset support (straight out of the box) at least for now, since Sakurai has been so intent on player anonymity while going online (for safety reasons) as well as the core features game been focused on playing with a bunch of friends.

But with a future firmware update who knows what might happen? I'm sure a game (Most likely a tactical FPS) with a strong emphasis on online play will arrive on the wii soon and will include headset support, thus opening the door for patches to carry over the Voip technology to previously released titles for online play.

This is all just speculation on my part mind you. I do not know what is involved in modifying the online interface of a game. If it can be done at all let alone with something as simple as a firmware update.

yeah headset support will prob exist but only on 3rd-party games. Nintendo doesn't want to be responsible for the abuse people give out when they suck and get angry.
