They judge others but if the judgemental views are affecting you then it's mental issue that should be dealt with not their appearance.

Sure take pride but completely altering isn't right.
Oh, wow. I couldn't disagree with you more.

That logic could be applied to bullying, in which case the bully would be excused for the bullied kid's 'emotional problems'.

No, you're taking me wrong.

You should rise above them and be proud of who you're, if other people don't like it then they themselves are ignorant for their thinking and actions. Succumbing to believing what they say shouldn't happen no matter your appearance.

...So why do we obey laws?

People have influence, I'll tell you that, and if severe bullying is the case, and it could go through to the workplace, then I don't see that much wrong with it, as long as you're not delaying people of a serious operation. Bbut there's specialists, so it's okay...

Okay Dr. Phil.

Yes people have influence, obviously. However if that influence is to make you want to be someone else then you should consider what's happening and rise above.

# It may be helpful to point out that laws, having a social dimension, are not fixed and may be changed in response to the circumstances of a particular group, eg laws relating to consumer issues, the environment and employment.
# Criminal law covers behaviour that is thought to be so serious that organisations such as the police, Trading Standards authorities and the Health and Safety Executive take on the job of investigating the offence. With enough evidence the suspect individual or organisation will be charged and the case brought to a magistrates', youth or Crown court. If the party is found guilty, some form of punishment is normally imposed.
# Civil laws are designed to settle disagreements between individuals or groups and cover a wide range of activities, eg employment disputes, tenancies, divorce, buying and selling goods. Such matters are normally brought to court or a tribunal by one of the parties concerned, and usually the police are not involved.

Seriously though. The most important point I'd like to make in this thread is that its easy to preach 'Life isn't fair' from one side of fence, but on the other side, they're living by those words.
