A responsible mod actually must show respect for everyone.

When that respect slips, there's the public humilitation (or as much as you can do over the interwebs) of banned users.

This leads to the moderation becoming more of a show, and less of moderation.

This in turn leads to corruption.



And here, first impressions are incredibly, incredibly... Impressionable.



Also, Wario, to answer your question, off topic as it may be, it's only seemingly hard to be a mod because.... Well..

The easy part of the job is dealing with the spammers and flamers and such.

It's when the regular members send the forum into the idea that wiichat has become a wasteland where there is no safe place to hide, and where rogues roam unpunished.


And plus, I can't change my custom user title :<

i'm not about to not take charge of things.....the only thing that loses anything by not making me a mod is wiichat's members......i'm good with not being a mod, but i'd much rather be here to make this place better
